Time Out says

Spend an evening investigating the cosmos with a live orchestral soundtrack

This Sydney Science Festival event at Centennial Parklands will soothe your soul and engage your noggin with moving music and astrological investigation. The Symphonic Wind Ensemble from Sydney Youth Orchestras will play ethereal excerpts from Gustav Holst’s seven-movement orchestral suite, Planets (some of which inspired the symphonies of Star Wars). The seven sections of the early 20th century creation are named for the planets in our solar system, and blend an ominous fury with the wonderment of gazing at the night sky.

Once you’ve been entranced by the orchestra, Dr Luke Barnes from Western Sydney University will take you through a stargazing session and astrology talk, using the Sydney Skywatcher’s telescopes.
