Time Out says

This world-class craft beer experience is making its Sydney debut this month

Put it in your diary and double underline it: the highly anticipated Zoo Brew Festival is coming to Mosman’s Taronga Centre over the weekend of July 21 to 23.

The inaugural festival will feature a variety of local and much-loved craft brews from more than 20 breweries, including Stone and Wood, Monteith’s Brewing Company, Young Henrys, Two Birds Brewing, Bentspoke Brewing, Little Creatures, Feral Brewing, Nomad and more. Punters can also take their love of beer to a new level with Meet the Brewer talks where you’ll get to know more about what goes into making Sydney’s best brews.

The best part? The festival will take place beside the picture-perfect Harbour and Taronga Zoo. Your admission ticket will get into the Taronga Centre festival zone, a glass tasting cup, ten beer samples and a 50 per cent discount on zoo entry tickets. Additional tasting tickets are available to purchase, plus you can pair your brews with food from the Royal Albert Hotel, Surjits Indian Food, Bamboo Dumplings, the Shuck Trucks as well as special food offers from the in-house chefs at the Taronga Centre.

The three-day festival officially launches with a gourmet beer degustation dinner on Friday July 21. Kicking off at 7pm, this dinner will be a five-course beer-inspired degustation menu prepared by the Taronga Centre’s in-house chefs, made in partnership with some of the participating Zoo Brew breweries. You can also get the inside scoop on each of the beers featured and how they’re used to bring the dishes to life.

Space is limited so it’s recommended you nab a ticket ASAP – they’re available online or at the gate, if not sold out prior. Tickets for the weekend will be sold in two sessions (11.30am-3.30pm and 4-8pm) on both Saturday and Sunday. Plus, a portion of the proceeds will go towards Taronga Conservation Society Australia's wildlife conservation activities.
