Chocolate maker Godiva has launched several new sweet treats in collaboration with convenience stores this spring, like Lawson's exclusive chocolate almond cup and a decadent frozen frappe from FamilyMart. But it’s also partnered with chain restaurant Denny’s to serve up more chocolatey creations produced by Godiva’s executive chef and chocolatier Yannick Chevolleau.

Denny’s launched its first collaboration with the premium Belgian chocolate brand last November, which included some mouth-watering. The chocolate pancakes (¥1,098) make a return this year, but with an upgrade: perfectly stacked on top of each other with whipped cream sandwiched between each layer. Plus, they’re topped with chocolate sauce, brownies, chocolate shavings and a side of cacao sorbet.

The chocolate French toast (¥878) is a new addition and has rich chocolate sauce drizzled over sweet bread that’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s paired with chocolate pudding, cacao sorbet and crunchy chocolate feuilletine crisps.

If you’re looking for a simple chocolate dessert, you can’t go wrong with the chocolate sundae (¥1,208). It has multiple layers including milk chocolate cream, cacao sorbet, chocolate ice cream and cacao jelly, with caramelised banana and fresh raspberries on top. If all that sounds a little too decadent, go for the half-sized mini parfait version instead (¥658).

There’s also another mini parfait on the menu – the mini chocolate pudding parfait (¥658) it has ten different ingredients packed into its a short glass, topped with a generous amount of chocolate pudding, whipped cream and of course, more chocolate.

The desserts are available at Denny’s outlets nationwide until the end of May, so you’ve still got plenty of time to try them all.
