Another Friday is upon us. Although the days tend to blend into one another as we're spending more time at home, we still treasure our weekends: whether we decide to go out on walks, set up Zoom sessions with our loved ones or try and get a couple of at-home workout videos in, the weekend feels more relaxed. And, like everything in life, it's important we step into it with a positive attitude.

To that end, we've gathered some good news from around the country to take us right into our Saturday and Sunday. From city-wide sing-alongs to John Krasinski's latest online party and initial talks about potentially opening the economy back up, here are some exciting things to think about and partake in as we wind down with a glass of wine ready to tackle our socially-distanced weekend.

1. We're at least starting to talk about normalcy again. As President Trump announced yesterday, although it will be up to each state to come up with a "reopening" plan, we are, at least, all starting to think of a feasible way to do so.

2. Lady Gaga's much-anticipated "One World: Together at Home" benefit concert airs this Saturday night. Expect appearances and performances by the likes of Elton John, Paul McCartney, Oprah, Jennifer Lopez and more.

3. Folks have begun receiving their stimulus checks this week—hurrah!

4. Banksy can still make art.... in his bathroom.

5. You've got one more weekend to name the first baby sloth born at the Virginia Zoo. Our suggestion? Speedy, of course.

6. We can now order food directly from the Instagram app.

7. The third season of Fauda, the Israeli series about a commander in the Mista'arvim, is finally available to stream on Netflix.

8. We found a way to secure online grocery orders on Amazon and Instacart. Phew.

9. We've got a whole weekend to stream our favorite TV shows and get paid $2,000 for it.

10. You can learn how to draw like a pro from the comfort of your own couch, courtesy of Faber-Castell.

11. Folks all around the country are finding ways to be together and honor essential workers while apart. Watch New Yorkers lovingly belt out "New York, New York" from their windows, listen to the hills of Silver Lake erupt in cheers for medical workers, catch Miamians throw wild balcony parties and raves on a nightly basis

12. We can all go to prom with John Krasinski tonight.

13. A splendid meteor shower is expected to peak early next week.

14. This 93-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was able to get 150 cans of Coors Light beer to her door while under quarantine. If she can tackle life with a smile on her face, so can we.
