Ghana Music Awards

The highlight of the Ghanaian music industry’s year is this heady event showcasing the country’s most popular talent. 2012 saw the awards’ most lavish night to date, complete with red carpet, strobe lighting and a packed line up of live performances. Nominees are shortlisted from the year’s releases of hiplife, hip-hop, reggae, gospel and Afro-pop. Recent big winners were R2BEES.
