Au Grand Ecuyer is a lovely little place. The service was excellent on our last visit, as was the food. It’s an African-influenced French restaurant, and one of the great bargains in the city. The seafood-laden menu includes classics such as sole meunière and sauté de gambas, but it’s the langoustines that should be the pick. The boeuf au poivre is well regarded too.
