Time Out says
Healthy eating is all the rage at the moment, and Green Eats Salad Bar is bringing that trend to Ghana. As Accra’s first fully stocked salad bar, this ‘build your own salad’ concept is a unique addition to Accra’s new healthy eating scene. Green Eats Salad Bar is located in Nyaniba Estates. Since it opened, Green Eats has already gained a large following, so much so that lunchtime queues are to be expected. The concept is simple yet delicious. Firstly, pick a salad base, either mixed greens or local lettuce, and then get in the queue for your toppings. Pick from a selection of vegetables such as curried cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, and top up with some chicken, beef or pork (the chicken crisps are a wonderful alternative to bacon), add some pasta, quinoa or bulgur wheat, and indulge in a selection of cheeses to top up your salad. Where Green Eats have really outdone themselves is their extensive range of dressings: any dressing you can imagine is homemade and available. Green Eats also make a selection of smoothies and just say what fruit and vegetable you want as a base, or try their homemade ice tea. Green Eats delivers, offers takeaway or you can chill on their lovely little terrace and enjoy your fresh, healthy lunch.
