Mamma Mia

Set around an agreeably rustic courtyard some five minutes’ walk from Oxford Street, Mamma Mia, now well into its second decade, combines quality thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas with an attractive setting, making it easily one of Accra’s best options for Italian food. But it’s not just pizzas – we’d also highly recommend the large and reasonably priced seafood platter. The outside area has a trattoria-like feel, with rough-hewn paving, terracotta tilework and warm, simple decor. Air-conditioned dining is also available inside. Service is well-regarded here.

A cosy backyard set with shady spots and a large stoneoven for baking the pizzas. The place is busy and the manager is around keeping an eye on things, which shows. Pizzas are nice and crisp and service is plenty. We had the seafood platter and it was a nice experience. If they learn to manage the amount of cheese on the pizzas and not grilling the seafood to dryness, I would rate them a 4.

This is the real deal of pizza in accra the rest is all wanna be pizzeria try it for ur self and try the sea food platter or grilled to die for amazing food fresh all the time just to end it up whit a limoncello or the best tiramisu i have ever hade in accra oh yes before i forget unbeatable quality and prices
