This month will be the first time ever that she will host exclusive site-specific live performances created for Bangkok Art Biennale at the Peninsula Bangkok Hotel, and you are all invited to observe as an audience. The artist is going to portray what happens when incompatible forces participate in the performance space which will bring together the producer (the artist) and the consumers (the audience) to present a microcosmic representation of society at large. Be prepared to be wowed.

The London’s West End Men in concert with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra at Thailand Cultural Centre; 5.30pm; B3,500

London’s leading theater actors, Daniel Koek, Hugh Maynard, and Oliver Tompsett, in collaboration with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. British indie singer Harriet Jones is a guest star. Koek played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables for two years at London’s Queens Theatre; Hugh Maynard starred in the original version of Miss Saigonat the Prince Edwards Theatre; and Oliver Tompsett played Fiyero Tiggular in Wickedand is now part of Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre.

Bangkok Block Party at Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discover Skywalk MBK; 12pm; B900

Masterminds behind Future Factory and Blaq Lyte joining with Rap is Now come up with a project to showcase Bangkok's art and music culture with the second Bangkok Block Party. The event features the city's art, music, food, and lifestyle under the same roof. International artists like Rejjie Snow, Jessie James Solomon, R3LL, and local heroes gather together to perfrom their magic on 3 stages, so you can choose to enjoy various styles of music ranging from hip hop to house to underground, plus activities and workshops. There is going to be something for everyone.

Colde is one half of South Korean hip hop duo OFFONOFF, and a member of hip hop crew Club Eskimo. His performance of the song “Breakers” on music TV program Mnet grabbed headlines and was dubbed his breakthrough moment.

Concert in the Park at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park; 5.30pm; free

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra is making a return to a new venue at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park to serenade the city’s park-goers with a free concert series, featuring legendary melodies, classic Disney songs, and music reminiscent of and composed by the late king. Ideal for Sunday picnics in the park.
