The Tokyo 2020 Summer Games just wrapped a few weeks ago with so many great moments happening in the capital of the Land of Rising Sun—and here we are, moving onto the next global sports event, the Tokyo Paralympics, which is set to kick off today.

For this year's edition, the event features competitions across 22 sports and a total of 539 gold medals up for the talented athletes to fight for. The games, including the opening ceremony, are broadcast live from Tokyo from August 24 and will continue for 11 more days until September 5.
