Can’t jet off to Hong Kong? Hong Kong has come to you—well, in a form of the first overseas location of hip coffee roaster NOC. The hyped cafe brand has just opened its first store in Thailand on Soi Sukhumvit 40 at the newly-opened community mall PowWowWow.

Started out as a tiny, discreet modern-looking coffee shop on Graham Street by Benny Leung and Sam Chan, NOC, whose name stands for ‘not only coffee’, rose to fame as one of Hong Kong’s best household names for artisanal coffee choices. The brand currently operates in seven locations around Hong Kong.

The Bangkok store takes up almost half of the lower and upper floors of the pet-friendly retail space, churning out coffee brewed using a house-blended mix of beans from Colombia and Nan province. House’s specialties they’d want you to try include dirty (B120) and flat white (from B120). The upper floor serves as a slow bar where you get to sip drip coffee.
