The latest edition of World’s 50 Best Restaurants has been revealed, and Southern Thai restaurant Sorn holds the title of the best restaurant in Thailand.

On July 7, the 50 Best folks unveiled which restaurants around the globe ranked 51 to 100. Four restaurants in Thailand made it to the roster—Samrub Samrub Thai and Jay Fai made their debut appearance on the list at No. 75 and No. 85, respectively, while Le Du and Sühring placed No. 65 and No. 66.

Today (July 18), the prestigious culinary awards has unveiled its complete list for 2022. Like we predicted, Supaksorn “Ice” Jongsiri’s fine-dining establishment on Soi Sukhumvit 26 has been named as the best restaurant in Thailand, placing at No. 39—a huge jump from No. 63 last year—and it’s also the sole restaurant from the kingdom that made the cut this year.

Big congratulations to Geranium from Copenhagen for the title of the best restaurant in the world.
