Following the arrival of Drag Race in 2018, and The Ellen Degeneres Show-licensed Woody Show in 2020, Project Runway will be the latest American entertainment franchise to have the Thai adaptation, which is set to broadcast next year on JKN18 channel. Thailand will be the fifth nation in Asia to have its own version, after The Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, and Vietnam.

Hosting the Project Runway Thailand are transgender billionaire Anne Jakrajutatip (who owns JKN18 channel) and fashion designer Tawn Chatchawanwong. The first key visual dropped a few days ago saw both show hosts strike a pose with The Grand Palace and a Thai TukTuk in the background. Details on how to apply are yet to be announced.

Project Runway is an Emmy's-winning reality fashion design TV show that's been showing for 18 seasons since 2004. The 19th season, which had been postponed from last year due to COVID-19, is currently in the works. The original Project Runway's notable judges include Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, and Karlie Kloss.
