The National Book Fair (aka Book Expo Thailand) is set to make a return this year, reuniting with its original venue, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), this October.

Ahead of its reopening, which is slated for September, the newly renovated convention center has already announced a line-up of events it will host, including the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting and the much-awaited book fair.

The 27th edition of Book Expo Thailand is set for October 13-23 and will be hosted in a much bigger space of 78,500 square meters, which is five times larger than the original structure. Guests will also be happy to know that the QSNCC now has a bigger parking space.

In the three years the QSNCC was closed, the country’s largest book fair was hosted in several locations, including IMPACT Muang Thong Thani and, most recently, Bang Sue Grand Station.
