One of the pioneers of Bangkok’s creative cocktail scene is preparing for a new era with the introduction of a new bar manager together with a reworked cocktail line-up.
Vesper has recruited Federico Balzarini after the departure of Supawit “Palm” Muttarattana (on amicable terms, of course) back in April. The Milan-born mixologist has a CV chock-full of experiences in the hospitality industry, including a remarkable stint at American Bar, the renowned drinking establishment at London’s Savoy hotel that bagged the top spot in the list of The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2017.
To introduce himself to Bangkok’s drinking connoisseurs and Vesper fans, Balzarini has put together a new drinks menu that continues to explore the bar’s signature concept of mixing unlikely ingredients together in one cocktail.
The new menu, called Contrast Edition 3, includes the pineapple cold brew-based 1491/1492, the umeshu-infused Beauty & the Beast, and Tipsy/Sober, which blends sparkling wine with white chocolate, shiso and coconut water.
All-time fan-fave cocktails, like LGBTQ+/Male/Female and Dirty/Clean, will still be on the menu, as well as classic drinks.
Contrast Edition 3 by Federico Balzarini is now available. Vesper is open from 17:00 every day.
