Now that dreary, 40-degree days are the new norm, it's time to retreat to the great indoors and go into hibernation mode. The Drawing Room at the Chicago Athletic Association is just the place to do it, so we teamed up with the crew behind the bar on a special drink for Time Out readers.

What must you do to get your hands on this boozy collaboration? Simply find a cozy spot in the second-floor lounge (we recommend a couch near the roaring fireplace) and ask your server for the Affinity Cocktail. The $12 ruby-red sipper is a mix of Scotch, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth and a dash of bitters. For my cocktail nerds out there, the end result is a twist on the classic Rob Roy. For my novices, the drink tastes similar to a Manhattan but swaps out the bourbon for Scotch.

After one or two of these, you'll be ready to hit the Game Room for shuffleboard and a warm Bavarian pretzel. See? You're getting the hang of this whole hibernation thing already.
