Few things in life are better than pizza … unless it’s free pizza.

Coca-Cola is teaming up with legendary deep dish pizza maker Lou Malnati’s to offer free slices to anyone who brings in an empty plastic bottle (including non-Coke products) for recycling. The event is part of Coca-Cola’s “Toss In, Take Out” campaign, which sees the company partnering with beloved pizzerias in Chicago, New York and Atlanta to help reduce waste.

The promotion will take place on November 7, between noon and 8pm, at Lou Malnati’s West Loop location (1235 W Randolph St). Guests will receive a slice of cheese pizza, as well as a Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero Sugar or Dasani in a 100% recycled plastic bottle.

Coca-Cola is expanding the availability of its bottles made from 100% recycled plastics to Chicago, Atlanta and the Pacific Northwest. The initiative was first launched  in 2021 across California, New York and Texas. The company estimates this new change will reduce over 39,000 tons of CO2 equivalent annually in the U.S.—the same as taking 8,418 cars off the road for one year.
