Has anyone else been living on sourdough bread and frozen pizza for the past few weeks? Just us? If you're looking to inject some green stuff back into your diet, local farms are happy to help with home delivery or contact-free pickup points throughout the city.

Nearby farms in Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois are stocked with everything from baby bok choy and ramps to eggs and pork roasts. If you're not picky and you like to plan your meals around what's in season, consider ordering a CSA box that's packed with the freshest produce. If you're looking for a one-off ingredient—like local honey or charcuterie—some farms will let you pick and choose, too.

Did we mention it's a hell of a lot less stressful than braving the big-name grocery store right now? Take a look at 11 nearby farms that will bring their bounty straight to you.

Alden Hills Organic Farms

This organic farm situated in Wisconsin lets you online shop for whole chickens, turkey breakfast patties, strip steaks and short ribs. Heck, they've even got smoked marrow bones for your pups. Ready to stock up for grilling season? This handy FAQ page explains the ins and outs of delivery.

Angelic Organics

Imagine getting a weekly shipment of fresh veggies delivered to your doorstep every week (or every other week if you want to continue supporting your takeout habit). Angelic Organic stuffs its CSA boxes with everything from sweet corn and melons to sage and garlic so that your fridge is always stocked with greenery.

Chicago Honey Co-op

Now's not the time to let your honey supply run dry, and this Chicago-based beekeeper can help with 3- to 12-ounce jars of the sweet and sticky stuff. While you're at it, toss in some hand-dipped beeswax candles or a jar of honey sugar bath scrub.

Frillman Farms

If you've dined at beloved Logan Square pasta palace Daisies, you've most definitely feasted on produce from Frillman Farms. Though the Buffalo Grove-based farm isn't yet accepting orders for the season, you can sign up to be notified as soon as weekly produce boxes are ready to leave the farm.

King's Hill Farm

When you sign up for a farm share at King's Hill Farm, you're committing to a weekly farm haul from May 28 through October 29, and each week, you'll get to pick exactly which veggies you want—from arugula and basil to winter squash and zucchini. Want to test the waters first? The sampler share lets you buy in for four weeks to see if the full program is the right fit.

Mick Klüg Farm

Offering nine Chicagoland pickup locations, including Middle Brow Bungalow and Elske, this chef-approved family farm offers two- and four-week CSA boxes chockfull of frozen fruit, apples, cider, jam and a special treat from one of the farm's local partners. You can even upgrade your order with single bunches of chives, ramps, turnips and more.

Mint Creek Farm

If you go through meat faster than vegetables, Mint Creek's weekly and monthly protein-focused CSA boxes will stock your fridge with chops, loins, steaks, sausages and cured meats. Packed with seasonal cuts, these bundles are available for delivery or pickup at your local farmers market (when they're back in action, of course).

Nichols Farm

Farmers market regulars have been shopping Nichols Farm's top-notch supply for years. Delivering to Chicago households on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, these pros carry shiitake mushrooms, green garlic, fennel, farm-fresh eggs and plants. Fill your cart with what you need and repeat again next week.

River Valley Ranch

If your grocery list includes pet nat wine, tamales, bread, and a shit ton of mushrooms, you've come to the right place. River Valley Ranch's sweet Ravenswood market allows you to shop online for pickup. They'll also ship some mushrooms, jarred dips, granola and preserves via USPS if you can't make it to the store.

Tomato Mountain

We love that Tomato Mountain offers its CSA boxes in four sizes, from solo (perfect for one person) to large (ideal for big families). Each week, you'll get a treasure trove of produce—come summer, it's all about the watermelon, cherries and spinach; when fall rolls around, expect carrots, potatoes and sprouts.

Underground Meats

Need some charcuterie to go with all that wine you're drinking? This Wisconsin farm ships its hand-cured meats to Chicago, offering everything from summer sausage and soppressata to Spanish chorizo. You can even join the Curious Meats Club to get a large- and small-format salami delivered every month.
