Enjoy creative, one-night-only menus from Derek Serrano of Mi Tocaya, Colin McHugh of Oriole and Luis Diaz of Giant.

One of New York’s coolest dining concepts is coming to Chicago this November, and it’s set to be the city's ultimate culinary hot ticket. After nine wildly successful, sold-out seasons in NYC, The Lineup—a chef-driven dining series founded by Chicago native Elena Besser and presented by Resy—is bringing its in-the-know energy to the Ravenswood Event Center.
The series puts the spotlight on the incredible rising talent working behind the scenes at Michelin-starred and neighborhood-favorite kitchens. It gives up-and-coming chefs a platform to step out from the kitchen and present a five-course dream menu that's entirely their own.

"Chicago has one of the most dynamic culinary communities in the country," says founder Elena Besser. "We're having a blast creating a platform that celebrates the cooks making this city special, while bringing diners even closer to the people behind the food."
Here's the star-studded lineup taking over Chicago across three Tuesdays this November (each night features two seatings, paired cocktails and a multi-course meal):
November 5: Derek Serrano (CDC, Mi Tocaya Antojería)
Opening the series, Serrano brings a deeply nostalgic, soul-warming menu inspired by his grandmother’s kitchen. He'll present Mexican-influenced classics reimagined with modern techniques and fresh Midwestern produce.
November 12: Colin McHugh (CDC, Oriole)
Coming straight from two-Michelin-starred Oriole, McHugh showcases precision and contrast with ultra-sleek, luxurious dishes like butter-poached lobster and sablefish cut with vibrant pickles, concluding with an inventive, savory, cheese-based ice cream.
November 19: Luis Diaz (Sous Chef, Giant)
Diaz wraps up the inaugural season with a boundary-pushing menu reflecting his journey from Ciudad Juárez and Alaska to Giant’s test kitchen. Highlights include duck barbacoa burritos, masa fresca gnudi and a seared cornbread with hoja santa ice cream.
With incredible food, specialty drink pairings and rare access to tomorrow’s culinary icons, these limited seats won’t last long. Tickets are available now at thelineupdinner.com/tickets. Follow @thelineupdinner for more info leading up to the events.
