Bloom by Sir Roy Calne

Sir Roy Calne is an award-winning transplant surgeon, a former Professor of Surgery at Cambridge and a two-time nominee for the Nobel Prize. In addition to that, he’s an artist in his free time. His solo show ‘Bloom’ at Shalini Ganendra Fine Art will showcase works done in his home studio. Drawing inspiration from the life and light of the natural surroundings of his own home, Calne has painted scenes from his private garden. Apart from that, he has also managed to find the time to acquire digital media skills, with which he has created ten additional images that are presented as limited edition prints.
