Selipar Jepun, Kasut Tumit Tinggi

This play tells the tale of two dwarfs of different generations who meet on a bus ride. Their conversations are filled with reminiscence of World War II in Malaya inspired by Makyong, a form of storytelling which is forbidden in Kelantan. The performance combines monodrama, dance, theatre and music to explore the beauty of classical Malay art and traditions. The piece is directed by Zubin Mohamad.
