After scrolling through divisive racially-charged news on social media, it's a change to see The Rojak Projek, a series of bright, positive portraits of Malaysians but with a twist: They're illustrated with local food and drinks like rojak, muruku, sirap bandung and onde-onde. Why food? Because that's how we break the ice, and without that common thread, we wouldn't have that true-blue Malaysian line: 'Wei macha, you want to makan here or tapau?'
