HRDAYA - heartstrings

'HRDAYA - heartstrings' is a collection of vocal and instrumental pieces by music composer Kalpana Paranjothy encapsulating vignettes of beauty, wonder, love and disappointment. These are preceded by a recitation and interpretation of poems by Khalil Gibran, Langston Hughes, Rabindranath Tagore and William Blake. There will also be a rendition of the Raag Charukeshi, a tribute to the music composer's guru, Ustad Usman Khan, the composer of the piece.
