Time Out says

A whole new level of after-school raves takes place this month at the fourth MC Asia, where daytime music workshops and DJ coaching sessions by international speakers are followed by a massive dance festival featuring some of the genre’s biggest names. Jerome Isma-Ae, regarded as one of Germany’s leading progressive house DJs, takes the festival stage alongside Dash Berlin, Richard Durand, Julie Thompson, Patrick Oliver, TRIMIX, misterAriffin, Mr Fluff and Le Funkt.Studio.

Since bursting onto the scene with 1994’s ‘Under 100Hz’ on techno cult label Delirium, Munich-based Isma-Ae has gone on to produce remixes for the likes of compatriot Paul van Dyk and UK house outfit Way Out West. Jeff X Sutorius, or Dash Berlin as he is known to his legion of adoring fans, is a Dutch trance DJ behind hits such as ‘Till the Sky Falls Down’, ‘Man on the Run’ and ‘Never Cry Again’.

Meanwhile, returning for his second appearance at MC Asia is Dutch DJ/ producer Richard Durand, who brings his brand of exhilarating trance beats to KL. However, the one to look out for at this dance festival is Julie Thompson, who wowed the EDM scene last year with her vocal prowess in Durand’s ‘Diamond in the Sky’. Wong Boon Ken
