The highly prized long hu ban (pearl grouper in Cantonese) is popular for its sweet firm flesh rich in Omega-3 oils, and the star ingredient is available in five variations with three different preparation methods at Zuan Yuan this December. Try it wok-fried Cantonese-style served in claypot, steamed with Mandarin peels, poached with vermicelli Jiang Xi-style, braised in a claypot or steamed village-style. The pearl grouper promotion is priced at RM80nett per portion. Other Cantonese dishes such as braised imperial bird's nest with saffron lily bulb in pumpkin soup, poached Korean cabbage with smoked duck and more will also be available.
