Presented by Tokyo's Hanchu-Yuei collective, 'Girl X' is set in the aftermath of the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami and the subsequent segregation within its society due to varying views on the disaster. The play is written and directed by Suguru Yamamoto, whose works display a critical approach to the boundary between reality and fiction.
