Naga Women

Three solo female theatre powerhouses come together for a showcase of three separate tales that incorporate dance into its storytelling. Malaysia’s Sabera Shaik stars as the lead character in ‘Puteri Saadong’, a dark story about obsessive love; Rajika Puri, a scholar of Indian dance, will recount the life of ‘Eleni of Sparta’ using gesture, dance and songs; Anita Ratnam, choreographer and one of India’s top dance icons, is going to perform a neo-bharatham dance-theatre called ‘A Million Sitas’.
