Art Economy Conference

Organised by Institut Terjemahan & Buku Malaysia (ITBM), Vallette Gallery and National Visual Arts Gallery (BSVN), the inaugural Art Economy Conference will see a slew of forums focusing on the direction, potential and future of the arts for commercialisation in Malaysia. Special guests include Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Haji Mohd Yassin, Jack Lang (former French Minister of Culture and Communication Education), Claude Mollard (cultural expert and author of ‘L’Ingenierie Culturelle’) and many more. Apart from talks, the two-day conference will host four workshops as well as the launch of 'Rekayasa Kebudayaan' – Claude Mollard's Malay-translated title of ‘L’Ingenierie Culturelle’.
