Children's Book Festival: The Sun Comes Out on Moon Lane

A festival of storytelling and other author-led events at this independent children's bookshop. The line-up includes 'Picture Book Shop' led by illustrators including Sarah McIntyre, Chris Haughton and Chris Judge (Jul 2 1pm), 'Character Parade' featuring Maisy, the Gruffalo, Aliens in Underpants and others (Jul 3 2pm), storytelling with 'How to Train Your Dragon' author Cressida Cowell (Jul 3 4pm) and 'Fallen' author Lauren Kate (Jul 4 11am), a high tea with Cathy Cassidy, Sophia Bennet and Pauline McLynn (Jul 5 3pm), a talk by Meg Rosoff and Jenny Downham (Jul 6 6pm), 'Bookshop Brunch' with authors talking about their favourite foods (Jul 7 11am-noon).
