Summer Reading Challenge

This year's annual summer reading challenge, set up by the Reading Agency to encourage children to read more over the long summer break, has an Olympics theme. Children who complete the challenge of reading at least six books from their local library will be awarded certificates or Olympic-style medals, the theme is Story Lab, set in a city hosting the Games, and associated activities will be linked to Cultural Olympiad events.
