Oh boy is this one of our favourite festivals. And with good reason, too. But you know what? It looks like it could be even better this year. With a line up including Caribou, London Grammar, Jamie XX, Kano and Jorja Smith taking over Victoria Park on the August Bank Holiday weekend, this is one music festival that we think will be a great way to celebrate the summer. But we’re biased. Because we really like it here.
If you’ve been to the London Restaurant Festival before you’ll know it’s the place to go to really experience the best of London’s brilliant, vibrant restaurant scene. But this one’s a little bit different: it’s the Summer Edition. What does that mean? Well, more outdoor dining for one. And no doubt plenty more sunshine vibes to those seasonal menus. Beyond that? It’s the familiar programme – 35 culinary experiences alongside Festival Menus at more than 250 London restaurants. This is the kind of thing tastebuds were made for.
It’s back! Great news. We missed it. It wouldn’t be a true British summer without eating strawberries and cream while watching our favourite tennis stars compete. Of course it would be ace to be in the crowd, it doesn’t get much better than shouts of ‘new balls please!’ and eyes swiveling from left to right and back again in glorious, happy harmony. Such fun.
