This group show presents artists who highlight and reference historical events, whether personally significant or culturally important. Reflecting on the significance of history, the importance of preservation and what defines an era, Andrea Bowers, Sam Durant, Hans Haacke, Sharon Hayes, Mary Kelly and Carrie Mae Weems each confront how the past informs our present.
