Time Out says

During the Second World War, London's art galleries sent their priceless collections to the safety of country estates and slate quarries (the Tate also had a few nestling in disused Underground tunnels at Piccadilly station). This exhibition at the Imperial War Museum reveals the museum's own wartime plans for evacuating its art collection, including which ones were earmarked for saving and which would have had to take their chances against the Luftwaffe. The exhibition is one of three free shows happening as part of the Culture Under Attack season at the IWM.
