In 1912 an Austrian tailor, Franz Reichelt leapt off the Eiffel Tower to test run his parachute design. Unfortunately this early aviation stunt using one of the first parachute’s ever to be developed ended in Reichelt’s death. Here the little known tailor's story lives on through Agnew’s immortalization of him as a contemporary saint in a new series of paintings that look at how belief systems are created.
