Christodoulos Panayiotou is an expert at using unexpected materials in his art. This solo show at the Camden Arts Centre, featuring works made throughout the last decade, includes paintings made from thousands of pulped Euro banknotes and 'Independence Street', a large-scale piece constructed from dismantled electricity poles. Running throughout the show is the idea of islands, both imagined and real, along with a specific interest in the artist's native Cyprus.
