Clare Goodwin: Unforced Errors

The exhibition’s premise and title is taken from the tennis term in which a decision can be irrevocable. Taking the concept of game play, Goodwin’s precise abstract site-specific installation leaves no room for error.

A stunning example of an artist at the top of her game, combining new large-scale canvasses, sculptures and a voluptuous laminate floor that slices through the blueprint of this lovely gallery. Well worth the visit on its own but don’t miss Steven Pippin’s mesmerising balancing pencil at the other art gallery in Southwark Park. These two exhibitions were the highlight of my visit to London and will stay in my mind when I return to Berlin.
