An international group of female artists approach their personal memories of conflict, nationalism and apartheid in this exhibition. Tackling moments in time such as the troubles in Northern Ireland, the Bosnian War, the GDR and the tensions in Gaza, the group seeks to further its own understanding as well as project a quieter, more contemplative alternative to collective mourning. Through a wide range of different media, each artist uses layering and distortion, also questioning what is true.
