Elad Lassry

Lassry is addicted to photographing shiny objects on surfaces as brightly coloured as boiled sweets, and rather more reflective. His image of sterling silver vases atop a shiny yellow surface is like a parable of narcissism, with the glass and gloss functioning as a mirror: stare at these photos for long enough and all you'll see is your own furrowed brow, washed in whichever violent hue Lassry has chosen.
