‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ couldn’t be more apt for this collection of images. The Hubble Heritage Project wanted to make sure their released imagery captivated the taxpayer with awe-inspiring images that went beyond the mere documentation of space missions. With such a phenomenal backdrop, it’s hard to believe careful orchestration for the perfect shot was ever an issue. This display of vintage prints includes a shot of Edward H. White during his 20-minute spacewalk (pictured) as well as artificially coloured images of the planetary cosmos.
