Time Out says

Establshed in 1999, Peer commissions projects both for its Hoxton Street gallery space and for offsite buildings and open spaces in Hackney, such as John Frankland's installation of two giant granite boulders in nearby Shoreditch Park and Mabley Green, readymade sculptures that can also be used to climb on. Among the other established and mid-career artists Peer has shown are Ceal Floyer, Bridget Smith, Mike Nelson and Martin Creed. Having already expanded next door from one to two ex-retail spaces the next stage in Peer's development is the construction of a new facade to the venue, which will feature a 24-hour vitrine-style exhibtion space.
