Iain Andrews: Il Teatro dei Leviatano

The winner of the 2011 Marmite Art Prize presents a series of new paintings for his first solo exhibition which look to tackle the cultural battle between Old Masters and the modern art world. As the title might suggest, this exhibition - literally and metaphorically - addresses the role of the theatre as a place for narrative progression and observation; at the centre of this artistic body, you’ll find a miniature theatre, complete with miniscule props and backdrops.
