inTRANSIT Festival of Arts

Kensington and Chelsea's annual arts festival lines up an eclectic range of some 25 events and exhibitions, from the Big Dance bus at World's End, complete with a roll-out dancefloor and Djs (Jul 13), to the Portobello Road Arts Day (Jul 14 1-4pm), with street theatre, puppet shows, music and dance including Epico the Dragon and Monkey Biz, and Drawabout (Jul 14, 21 2-3.30pm), a walkabout drawing experience to capture life around Portobello Road. Plus there's a chance to put yourself in the picture with Edgar Mueller's large-scale 3D illusion paintings on Portobello Square (July 14 to 31) and participate in a bike-riding 'Alice in Wonderland' themed tour (July 18-22). Many of the events are family friendly and free.
