If you’ve ever walked into a James Turell installation, you’ll know the initial unnerving sensation that comes over you. Any sense of the immediate space around you is lost, colour floods the gallery and distance becomes a changeable entity. But once you give into the American artist’s cunning mind altering works, you start to appreciate the joy of an indeterminate state and that all is never what it seems.
For his Pace show he’ll be presenting two never-before-seen works from the Wide Glass series.
