Jim Lambie: Answer Machine

Incorporating elements of sculpture, painting and installation, Jim Lambie’s sixth exhibition at Sadie Coles extends the artist’s long-term study of colour, form and materiality. Utilising materials such as electrical cables, sun glasses, and lampshades, Lambie’s works examine the transformation that occurs when the readymade object is liberated from its everyday context.
