 HOW TO ENTER

This competition (the “Competition”) is organized by Time Out England Limited, company number 01782049 with registered offices at 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR (“Time Out”) in association with Lions Gate UK Ltd, company number 4046807 with registered offices at 45 Mortimer Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 8HJ (“Prize Provider”). Please enter by filling out and submitting your details in the relevant form and you will be entered into a ballot, from which a winner will be selected at random (the “Entry” or "Entries"). Submit your Entry by filling out the online entry form found at https://www.timeout.com/ between Wednesday 12th July 2023 and Wednesday 19th July 2023 for your chance to be selected to win a total of four (4) tickets to a VIP preview screening of JOY RIDE on Wednesday July 26th 2023 at Vue Leicester Square, 3 Cranbourn Street, London WC2H 7AL, followed by entry to an exclusive after party at The W Hotel at 10 Wardour St, London W1D 6QF. This will feature a bespoke "tattoo parlour", custom themed cocktails, tasty canapes, photo opportunities and a performance from “Bitten Peach” - a queer Asian cabaret group. There is one (1) Prize Package (as defined below) to be won by one (1) winner.  Timings: The doors to the preview screening will open at 6pm with last entry no later than 6:45pm for a 7pm screening start time. The after party will commence at 8:45pm and finish at 11:30pm.

HOW IT WORKS

Complete your Entry by filling out the relevant details on the online entry form at https://www.timeout.com/ and you will be entered into a ballot, from which one (1) winner will be selected at random.

 GENERAL COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Competition begins at 12:15am on Wednesday 12th July 2023 (the “Start Date”). The Competition closes at 11:45pm on Wednesday 19th July 2023 (the “End Date”).  
2. The Competition is open to all UK residents over the age of 18, except employees of Time Out and the Prize Provider, its agents, contractors and their family members.
3. Multiple entries will not be accepted. 
4. By submitting your Entry, you understand that you are entering the Competition and agree to these Competition terms and conditions (the “Rules”). Time Out reserves the right to exclude any Entry from the Competition at any time if they have a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the Rules. 
5. Copyright in all Entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an Entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their Entry. This includes sharing the Entry through social media and publication by Time Out worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material. 
6. The winner will be notified by Time Out by telephone or email within five (5) days from the End Date. 
7. The winner will be selected at random from a computer-generated ballot. 
8. 9. The winner must be aged 18 or over.
10. All Entries must be submitted by the original writer of the Entry.
11. Entry on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. 
12. The winner may be required to participate in publicity which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.  
13. All Entries considered generated by a computer or macros, incomplete, illegible, altered, forged, tampered, inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified. 
14. The Prize Package will be provided by the Prize Provider and is subject to their terms and conditions set out below.  
15. The winner will be notified by Time Out within five (5) days from the End Date using the contact information submitted with their Entry. The winner may be asked to provide identification. Any winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within seventy-two (72) hours of notification will be disqualified, thereby forfeit their right to the Prize Package, no compensation will be given and the next eligible entrant will be selected as an alternative winner in the same manner. 
16. The names of the winner may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR or by email to competitions@timeout.com by 19th August 2023. 
17. Any winners details shared will be limited to surname and country only, in accordance with ASA guidelines on the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. 
18. The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. 
19. Time Out and/or the Prize Provider accept no responsibility for withdrawal of the Prize Draw, system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to lost, delayed or not received Entries or winner notifications that are the result of events outside of Time Out’s and/or the Prize Provider’s control.
20. Time Out and/or its agents and/or the Prize Provider will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of Entries as a result of technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failures or otherwise. 
21. Time Out and/or the Prize Provider shall not be responsible or liable for any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Competition.
22. Time Out and/or Prize Provider accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s and/or the Prize Provider’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
23. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, and if necessary to do so, Time Out and the Prize Provider reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package for an alternative of equal or greater value. 
24. Time Out accepts no responsibility if the Prize Provider refuses to issue the Prize Package.
25. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and/or the Prize Provider and which prevents Time Out and/or the Prize Provider from complying with the Rules, neither Time Out or the Prize Provider will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control. 
26. This Competition and the Rules shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 
27. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by 

Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition.

1. Any personal information collected by the Time Out will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Time Out’s privacy policy at https://www.timeout.com/privacy-notice.
2. The Competition promoter is Time Out England Limited 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR and all references to Time Out shall mean Time Out England Limited. Time Out shall have the right to license all and any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees. 

SPECIFIC PRIZE PACKAGE TERMS & CONDITIONS

30. The Prize Package 

1. There is no cash alternative for the Prize Package. 
2. All elements of the Prize Package must be taken at the same time. 
3. If the winner elects not to partake in any or all portions of the Prize Package, any remainder of the Prize Package will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. The Prize Package may not be sold, offered for sale or used in connection with any other Prize Package or promotion by the winner. Time Out’s decision is final and Time Out and Prize Provider reserve the right not to correspond on any matter. 
4. Winner and each guest must be aged 18 or over. Valid identification on entry to the preview screening and the after party is required.
5. Prize Provider reserves the right to alter or vary the date and/or timing of the preview screening and/or the after party.
6. Transport to and from the venues are not included in the Prize Package.

1.  Claiming the Prize Package 

(a) The Prize Package may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. 

(b) Time Out and/or Prize Provider does not accept any responsibility if you or your guests are not able to take up the Prize. 

(c) Any unclaimed Prize Package shall remain the property of the Prize Provider.
