Friendship, literature, and the potential significance of light are explored in London-based artist’s light-box works and drawings. While recent developments in LED technology have permitted Bradley to experiment with the light-box, the most significant piece of the show is perhaps Naming Spaces, 1989, a diptych with images of her friends and a passage from Proust on the difficulties of making choices. Alongside her artworks are two pieces of text, one by curator Gill Hedley and one by Liam Gillick, who attended Goldsmith’s College with Bradley and was the first person to write about Bradley’s work.
