Kat Anderson: Restraint Restrained

The latest part of Kat Anderson's 'Episodes of Horror' research project, this exhibition is made up of four new artworks questioning the idea of 'violence' in specific relation to Black bodies. The artist has drawn inspiration from the true stories of mentally ill Black people who died in police custody or mental health facilities through dangerous restraint holds or other brutal treatment. A highlight of the autumn art schedule, this is definitely worth a visit.
