Kendell Greers' latest series of works-on-paper, paintings and neons draw inspiration from, variously, Charles Baudelaire's 'Les Fleurs du Mal', Dutch wax batik fabrics and sub-Saharan African reliquaries. The artist sees the major political events of recent times from the gilet jaunes to the US border fence and Brexit, as part and parcel of the same destabilising, planet-damaging attitude. This group of artworks also continues the artist's interest in wordplay and revolutionary activities.
