Kinetica Museum goes to sea with this day of performance, screenings and sound art and music aboard the MS Stubnitz. Throughout the day and into the evening artworks by Kinetica artists, and a series of ground-breaking audiovisual performances using the latest interactive technologies, will take place across the vessel. Highlights include two performances by the London-based multidisciplinary artistic duo Kimatica, an afternoon workshop and performance using sounds recorded from this year’s Kinetica Art Fair by Joseph Young, and a piece by sound and performance artist Sometimes Jasmine. In the bowels of the ship, a special subterranean session of short films and screenings will be introduced and presented by the East End Film Festival, and a bar serving a full selection of drinks and food will be available on two decks.
