Dulwich Picture Gallery celebrates its Dutch and Flemish Old Masters with a changing display that examines the creative processes of Van Dyck, Dou, Rubens and Rembrandt. Each artist is represented by a painting from Dulwich's collection as well as works from other institutions and private collections. First up (until April 24) is 'I am Van Dyck'. Van Dyck's final self-portrait, made around 1640, and newly acquired by the National Portrait Gallery. It will hang beside self-portraits by contemporary artist Mark Wallinger, to explore different notions of self-portraiture. Also on display is new information about Dulwich's best-known Van Dycks through X-Ray technology.
